Been Ripping and Running. I guess it is a just a sign of the times that I am really busy lately. Been meeting with the right people. I joined a few groups. None of them involve the F*** community. Funny, how they are a four letter word. Anyhow, got two, yes count them, two fundraisers coming up. Actually both are focused on creating an Industry here. hey, like Trump said, if you are going to think, you might as well, think BIG. So to that end, I am going to focus on reaching people outside of here. Still the mindset here is a little backwards when it comes to things. There are a few people here who think forward, but...

And although I still play chess for fun, and to keep up with others, I really have to make sure to be really focused when it comes to time. Sometimes it is OK to "waste" time and relax and not work on stuff at least not on a conscious level. Yet, I don't want to let anyone take me down familar and utterly time wasting paths. A guy I met told me of a new group having meetings and I recognized not one solid name there.

I mean, even at our non-Hollywood level, if you haven't heard of someone, it means that they aren't doing anything. That is just the way it is.You may ormay not like their stuff, but if you can't find any news of them doing anything, then they are not doing anything.

Which brings me to my latest and first auunal report (aka Business Plan). I used a lot of the press, Prelude2Cinema has received over the years. It was fun to do. I put it in the hands of a few key people.

And I am working on talking to the Man with the Space about making it the Studio. He is a cool guy and knows a lot. We're actually neighbors. So he is concerned with the neighborhood and not just making a dollar.

I have to finish up the new shoots for Dark Five int he next few weeks. Going to do that and then get more funds and go into post. So whoever is available to shoot with is who I shoot with. I finally introduced a guy I have been trying to get into the show for a few years. God, has it been that long. We should be done with season one way before now. Still have to have that main sponsor. And it all becomes a juggling act. Still, I don't have anyone else to go connect with people to get funds, so I have to do it. Still, it is my company and my vision, so who else could really do it.

Had a talk with my Blonde Consiglire. Time to go after the Big Game.
