Ahh what a difference a day brings. THE PRESS WAS GREAT!!! I really have to work on getting it out to potential sponsors, but damn it was good. I got about 50 copies of it and a few meetings this month. My new Marketing guy has some people lined up and I do have Faith. I guess that is what it really comes down to "faith." Even DM called me up and congratulated me. I was pleasantly surprised. He even hinted that I should remember him when I need directors. And I will. He does have talent and besides I don't want to direct everything. I would love the Dark to be shooting soon where I am not even on the set.

The show should be self sufficient soon.

Anyway, did a scene today by another writer that went quiet well. it was with Natalie and Magnos. Sparks were flying. And I loved it. They had fun too. Which was good. I wish I had a budget, but that is coming. NOw, I love press, but the main reason for it, is to gain the attention of the right people.

I have to work on all my contacts and let them know about the show and where we are now. I have a meeting with a stock broker buddy of mine who use to be a TV producer.
And there are three very promising business events coming up in the next few weeks.

OK, on the whole, it was again, a damn good article. I haven't heard anything from any of my so-called colleauges except DM. I did run into a guy today I haven't seen in years. He congratulated me and said he got the news from someone I know. OK, didn't expect to hear from them anyway.

And as for other things, not much to report. Been busy focusing on the show. Still have a lot of work to do. I did a shoot today and now I could do others, but I have to focus on getting a real budget while I have the "heat" from the article. I was reading a business article and guy who is successful said one of his biggest mistakes was not taking advantage of business deals (sponsorship) when they came up. So tomorrow I hit the mail, e-mails and also snail mail and phone calls and CONNECT.
