The Dark airs in primetime out on the West Coast.
Been a few hectic last days- getting the show broadcast ready and then shipping it out to Dish. We missed the deadline for the network, but they managed to squeeze us in for airing on Dish channel 216 at 12:30 am starting Saturday August 27th. The funny thing is, one of the fans on the website asked what time is that out in California. I said the same time, but I was wong. It is a satellite feed. So while it airs here at 12:30 am Saturday, it airs on the west coast at 9:30 pm Friday (August 26th). Yeah, prime time. The dish is set for 5 weeks. We still have to work on the other satellite stations and also on getting on cable. So everyone can see it no matter what they have.

Anyway, still prepping Dark #4, but I got a bit behind. A major guest cast member had a family emergency and then I am still juggling locations and there is one scene with me in it, so having someone shoot it whom I think is OK will be tough. I had wanted my intern to direct it, but I don't think there will be time for her to direct the entire thing before school. Ahh, those scheduling problems.

Right now, there is one scene left to shoot for Dark #2. I think we had scheduled to do that Wed Jan 31st. I really have to check my notes. I had been so wrapped up in getting Dark #1 on the air. Which was a PRIORITY. Like my Editor said, without Dark #1, there is no other episodes.

Tomorrow, I pin down a location for Friday or I don't. Maybe I can work on having my intern shoot a few key scenes for Dark #4 and I finish up the last scene for Dark #2 which the editor will need. Also need to get the marketing machine up and running to promote the show. Get the show on some more stations.

A lot to do, but it is on its way.
