Been sleeping down at my Mom's lately. I can't sleep at home. The computer is here. I have a shoot tomorrow.. well at 11am at one of our sponsors and then next week the PITCH. I can't complain. A lot of work to do which makes me tired. I do have some help and I feel I can delegate a bit. I'm reading "The Art of the Deal." Learning a lot. It is a BUSINESS after all.

I worked on things this weekend instead of going out to Events. I know people will think I am snubbing them. And I am not.. well not completely. It is just I don't get anything out of being there. And I have to stay focused on the business aspect. I've managed to get money for the TV Series and we are not even on the air yet. Which I think is great and should help us get a real budget. As long as I stay focused and don't get caught up in the hype of "making movies." I figure I already did the "Hey gang let's put on a show" thing. Which is fine, but if you want to take things to the next level, you have to stop doing things the way you have before.

I am doing a play - just a one day thing- and all I can think of is Sam Cooke singing "A Change is gonna come." Say what you will, but race plays a place with people. I don't think people are even aware of it at times, but a lot of white people look down on me cause they think they are better than me cause they're white.
Really sad sometimes the things people tell themselves to keep themselves going. Then later on, those same people end up asking me for something. The idea that you can put someone down then ask them for something is... well...well pretty stupid.

Not that I am perfect. We all prejudge people at times. I keep my distance from people. I'd like to be closer to some people now, but I have work to do. Not that I don't dream about "her," but still I have to keep the faith.
