Haven't blogged in a while. Being diplomatic lately and not one for opening up every little thing that happens I always have to question what to reveal and what to keep silent. People do read these things. Anyway, sometimes it is good to speak out. Did a shoot for the show recently. Went quite well. Everyone was pleasant to work with. I had New Blood show up at the set. Interesting thing is the "community" here is not that friendly and so one has to find New Blood (NB) to work with. Anyway didn't work out like I planned. NB wanted to come in and take over. Which is not my plan.

I still have faith I can do a show here and yet I see why no one has never did such an undertaking here before. This is an odd city. It supports anyone outside of it, but hates it own.

I been keeping ties with the business community here. Them I like. Of course I'm not in competition with any of them so maybe that is why they are friendly. Yet, like most business people, they are centered on profit and building their own companies and don't have the time or inclination to tear others down. Not that they are all lovely, but the atmosphere is a lot different than at the other "community" meetings. Of course, I don't go to those. I went a few times and was well treated, but I felt a certain "darkness" from some people and got absolutely nothing out of it. I kind of avoid them like the plague. If I could find a real reason to go, I would, but I don't.

Been snowed in so I have been working on the computer and touching base with sponsors. Due to the holidays, I have to wait to hear back from some people. I don't do the holidays, but still I hate it when the twon shuts down.
