Duh, how could I forget. I acted in a commercial down at WOIO a few days ago. It was fun to do some acting for a change where I am not responsible for the production and I can just show up and do my part. My part in it was kind of funny. I have to look out for it. It was the day after my article came out, so I was down at the station and the secretary, who is cool beyond words, told me I was in the paper.

There was a very nice blonde there and two other actors. The head guy with the company was waiting on some other actresses, but they never showed up. I KNOW THE FEELING. I scheduled an audition today and 1 out of 5 people showed up. Still, I got one coming up Monday at Stone. I been getting e-mails from the actors and some look promising.

And next Wednseday is the first shoot. Going to start with the news segments. Going to focus more on characters in this pilot. I really would rather not direct, but it is important to set the tone for the show, so...

Have lost touch with some people lately. which may not be a bad thing. There is a lot to do.

I want to do more acting about town. Since I am Raft in the TV Show , I need some other roles so people don't confuse me with Raft...although they already do.

The Benefit went nicely. Two members of the press showed up. My old friend JW who was there when I got there and another RM. RM is writing a story on me. I like her. She is really through when it comes to questions. Which is kind of funny cause all those people who think they know me had to give their opinion. I won't even waste time on that one . And thanks to Gstyl, I got a nice article in the Call and Post with my pic and the Emmy. Going to work with my consigliere on the casting thing. I got to find a new leading lady for my character. That is a hard one to search for. I have a feeling the show will be around for a while, unlike my other projects. With a movie, once it is over, you can move on, but with this, you may be stuck with these people for years to come. Of course, one can only hope so.

All in all, I been cleaning up the studio. Which is fun and takes my mind off of other things.

One of the actors from the TV pilot showed up to the Event. He is young, but very talented. He's very intense. I am seeing his family and giving them a copy of the show Sunday afternoon. There is a film event around town, but I am still not in the mood to go around the other filmmakers. While I wish them all well, I do not feel welcome, so going with my first instinct, I'll stick to myself.

I been getting a lot done this way.

Took a mini vacation and went on the train last weekend with my family. It was nice to get away. I purposedly left my notes and everything at home. Have to get away every now and then. Might even start dating. Although no actresses this time or worse, wannabe actresses.

Been a long time since I wrote. Been working on things. The Benefit went well. Had the press there and enough people showed up where I actaully made a few dollars. Of course I have been spending again. My sponsors got me some capital to work on the studio space. We have did the outside and I am going in to clean up the inside today. I have to do an audition there this Saturday. Trying to find someone for Raft's "girl." I am talking to some networks now. Right now, although there is a lot of work to do, I feel good about the show. It is coming along.

Still, things are going differently than I planned, but that is always expected.
