Starting to hate FireWire. Well, good news, bad news. My XL1 still shoots great, but the FireWire connection is loose, so I can't download to the computer o edit. So I may get it fixed later, but I am going to purchase a new cheap Mini DV camera to use for downloading to the computer. Canon has a camera for about $400. It also does analog input which the XL1 doesn't, so it is a good thing.
I have some footage from IT #2 that I may edit together. Make it wilder than no 1.
IT #1 is still getting a lot of play. I sent it off to another festival today and still waiting to hear back from some big name festivals for IT and Blood Kiss. And sending out letters to agents. There is a screenwriting conference in LA that I wish I could go to, but I probably will be still stuck here. Oh well.
Anyway, things are OK on the movie front. Supposed to shoot the other short this weekend with AR. I miss shooting.
Have to work on the behind the scenes book for "Blood" and re-do the site. I want the visitors to focus on the movie clips, but the studio store as well. After all, it is a business.
