Finished off the Indie Cleveland thing. Dumped the site. Said my final say about the failure of the workshop and opened up the group to anyone who wishes to join. I am never again doing anything like that. Still, I took responsibility for the mistake that it was. I have somethings to work on now. At least my name is getting out of here for doing movies and such. Around town people think of me as weird and no talented, but Film Threat and the London Worlds Smallest Film Festival likes me. I have to call Darwin about getting back out to Los Angelos. I didn't get a chance to meet his cousin and I should have. Also there is an event going on in Oct that I want to attend.
Well, got to go buy printer cartridges now.

Listening to Earth Wind and Fire. I won't say this is music I downloaded off the web. I have enough problems. Been checking out the Indie Cleveland posting. Someone brought up the workshop I did. or rather attempted to do. What a huge mistake. I had counted on some people to come through, but obviously when it came time to do the workshop, they got amnesia. Oh well, it taught me more or less to not focus on the community of moviemaking here. The best thing I can do is get the Prelude2Cinema movies out there. Having movies that make money would do a lot more than some workshop.
Anyhow, someone else said, "I meant well, but probably got in over my head." Which is true. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." So, why do I keep going back there to read the post. Well, I have to remember what not to do. Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results. So no community things. Let them talk, network and say whatever they wish. I do post every now and then, but I have found other places to post (I don't believe my audience to be here; especially not among other filmmakers here).
Mr. J. said he was doing his own workshop. I wish him well.
Well, tomorrow I have to go out and pay the over-due phone bill and mail out some things. Really have to get sleep at night; it is like 5am now.

Just what the fuck is wrong with some people? Got a nasty e-mail from some stranger just insulting me, my site, and calling me a no talent with an Emmy. Which seemed a paradox to me. I was diplomatic and told him he was free to his opinion and I wish him well, but back to my first question "What the fuck is wrong with some people?" Very sad to think someone took the time to do that. On one level, it makes me want to take my e-mail off the site, but then again, I have met some great people on-line. Still, I have to admit, it did give me a laugh more than anything else.
I got the CPT schedule and they have me down for a week (sometime between Jan 2nd and Feb 1 2003). I am going to do my one man show The M.A.N. I might include people like this in the show.
I heard from other people I haven't talked to in a "coon's age" and they asked me was I still in the movie business. "I guess so, " I said. Then they told me, they had looked over my site recently. OK, so why did you ask? I am going to stop trying to figure out people. For the most part it was an inquiry about the acting community, but I don't really deal with anyone in the community here (moviemakers or actors). I have to focus on promotion and getting things seen outside of here.
I am going to get with Jay B and go over things tonight. Have to rest up. I have been sending out queries to agents. I really need to get back out West. Oh well, I can do that in a few months. Of course, now I have to be back here for the CPT thing, but that will be a very loose and wild show anyway.
Still, I hope that is it for wild nasty e-mails right now (it is probably someone I know).

Been really good last few days. Heard from IT. She is busy with school. She and I will get together soon. Anyway, IT got into the London part of the Worlds small film festival.

So I been e-mailing everyone about going to vote for the IT girl. And I gave IT her own store on-line. Maybe IT will make me famous and I can be like Gatsby (without the getting shot at the end of the book. Speaking of that. I just found the entire book. That is the odd thing about the web, everything is there somewhere.
I have to finish IT #2 and make it more odder than IT#1. I have these other shorts to do with AR. We might do them next weekend. She is totally different than IT. A bit more ambitious. She has a good look and talent though. Should be fun.
Well, I got all of the Blood Kiss high quality AVI files on the computer. Came up to 16 GBs. Made the DVD chapter files and it is about 2GB, so we shall see if I can make a DVD that is only 4GB. Should look nice though. Rachel does work faster since I reformatted the hard drive.
Oh, been thinking of doing some "community" thing until I got a reminder from someone that I still owed them money (a refund) from that failed Indie Cleveland workshop. A few people got something out of it, but all in all, it was not worth it. Well, some teach and some do. I do. Which is better than teaching, I guess.
