Bad thing. Prelude2Cinema site was down for 5 hours today. It got back up and running, but man, what a pain.

Well, it has been an OK last few days. Still have to get out of town. My Sister is out west now with my niece Boo. I wish I was there. Oh well, I will be soon enough. I finished the Indie Reporter new look. Took all night.

I was supposed to go somewhere this week, but now I am not. It is probably for the best, but it would have been fun. I could use a little fun right now.

Back to the magazine. The cool thing is it has these passwords and is going to be subscription based. Now, I have to see if anyone is willing to pay for it. Still, it won't cost anything, but time. Which I do have a lot of most nights. I changed my quote on my front page of www.alexmichaels.com to a quote from Neichtze. It fits my mode lately.

There are some auditions coming up. While I would like to go, I don't exactly feel like getting wrapped up in the same old same old. I do miss being involved in things. Acting in something would probably be fun while I get my stuff out there. Haven't had anything play out in a while. Still I heard a quote that "insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results."

Not sure what to do, but I know it should be something different.

I think I have calmed down a bit, but I still have a bit of anger. Not a good thing, but of course I have to remember the old saying "Whatever doesn't kill you, make you stronger." June 1st, I do a final shoot for the series and that is it for me doing anything here. Besides I have enough stuff to edit and get out there as it is. I am staying away from the Movie Community here. Of course, there are a few trusted and dear friends I will still touch base with, but for the majority of them, I am going to stay way out of their way. I have been working on doing that lately. Honestly, I get more done with dealing with only a few people.

Here's something funny. Sad, and funny too. I talked a friend of mine who I hadn't seen in a while and she is convinced I am living a wild life. And when I tell people I'm not, no one believes me. Still the myth goes on. People lie on you. And all types of bullshit. The best you can do is stay away from them at all costs. I have to really cut ties with a lot of people this month coming up. Won't be exactly pleasant, but I think it will be for the best.

Besides I can get more focused. I have some work to do and I really need to get it done. On the flip side of things, I have been having some financial talks with my shareholders about the non-existant cash flow of Prelude2Cinema. And it is my fault for having too much going on and not getting things out there sooner than I should have. Well, have to change that.

Got to meet with some teenage actress tomorrow. She is a nice girl and her Uncle comes around as well. he is a cool guy. I am going to put him in the last scene for the series coming up where I have Antoinette singing a torch song. A fitting last scene to shoot here.

Just had a distributor turn down "Blood Kiss." Oh well. That happens. I need to get the movie out there though. I am not going to start selling DVDs of it. Although I really could if I needed to. Just have to get the OK with the music and make a master of it. There was this producer who started to self-distribute their movie and ended up making over a million dollars with it. They got turned down by everyone at first. And later on, they sold it to TriStar. So, anything is possible.

On another front, the on-line Magazine will be Indie Reporter. I already it up and did the thing on the Madstone movies, so I might as well just keep it up and running. A lot of research to do in that department though. My main stockholder told me, no more "grandiose" ideas. I agree. The Indie Reporter will take some time, but it is something I can do over the web and also gives me time to sort of some personal crap and get the movies out there. I have been working on shooting here for a while anyway, so now is the time to show stuff. I do miss the thrill of being involved in a production though. Yet from a business stand point, I do have to get the products out there or what is the point of making movies if no one sees them.

Good news, in November, my car will be paid off, so I'll have some money to play with. And I can get out to the Coast then for a while. I will try to take a trip sooner as well to pitch some stuff.

The Indie magazine has me more excited cause it all computer stuff. I don't have to get out there. I am so tired of that one.

Well, back to work.
