It seems like eons since I blogged, but a lot has been going on. I am working on finishing a season of the show. I have new plans for next season. I am still dealing with the financial stuff of the show. I have some connections that may involve us getting out of Cleveland for a bit. Yet, I want to keep some of the show based here. I've worked with some great talent.

I once heard a definition of insanity. It was "doing the same thing and expecting different results." So I don't want to do the same thing with the show. I have cut off ties with a lot of the community here- excpet for a few select people. I have plans that I don't reveal to anyone...until they are set.

All in all, I do have hope for things. And the show itself will have new talent and a different look.

I am still using Myspace to promote it. So far we have over 13,500 people. Which is good considering we haven't spent any money promoting it. Just time.

Well, back to work and I will try to blog a few times a week from now on.

I have been bad at blogging so I will correct that now. I do have another blog, just for the TV Series at http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendID=71702380

It uses the My Space site. There is nearly 11,500 friends there. A lot has been going on with the show. Right now, we are still looking for the Main Corporate Sponsor, but we have shot footage for episodes 5,6, 7 and 8. The interesting thing is tying all the footage together. The storylines have changed a lot since the show was originally concieved. And there is another Dark Wrap party at the Velvet Dog coming up in another 2 weeks.

Again, I am juggling the production while I work on sponsorship. I have made some good contacts and also have some avenues open. The current cast has grown, and there are some dedicated people aboard. I can actually see how Season One (13 episodes) will be wrapped up soon. My great Editor Tim has been polishing the show and we have juggled around the storylines and footage to fit.

So, this is why I haven't been here in a while, but I will try to blog a little at least every other day.

Now, backt o work.

Haven't blogged in forever. There has been so much going on with the show and business and all. Which is good. I might work on more blogs just for the business Sat. at CASE Dark episode 2 airs.

I love the show, and I got more press for it, but it is a lot of work and changes keep coming up. Still, I guess it is for the best when people leave. There is always new people and sometimes they do you a favor by leaving. Still, the show must go on.

"I'm happy Mommy." It's something my little baby said one time. I concur. I did manage to get a bit more focused and decided some people are better left to their own devices. So with that said, things are moving ahead. I have the Karamu thing tonight and an early morning meeting tormorrow. Got some ideas for the show, but I have to work on the budget thing and then I'll be able to tackle those. Tim's working on Dark #3 which really looks good. I have to work on the business end of things really intensely now. Which is why I need to waste less time with some people. Besides not all people have your best interest at heart. And the funny thing is people will tell the truth about what they really think of you if you just sit back and listen to them.

Really silly of me. My last 9am meeting is actually this friday and not last Friday. Man, I really need a break, but there is a lot to do. I did get a lot things did last Friday and connected with more people. Today, I went down to the auditions for Spiderman 3. It was fun, but then I got someone bail out onme for the Karamu thing Wed., so now I have to scramble and find a replacement. I should have know it would happen.

After this, I focus on the business aspect and get a budget for things. I do have a Wed. early meeting and also an early Friday meeting.

Well at least tomorrow (well today) is Monday. I am seeing an actor at 5pm and then I have to go somewhere, but in the day I am free. Free to worry I suppose.

Probably need to refocus and such. I know I have wasted a little time with somethings and some people.

Can't Sleep- so what else is new?
Got a 9am meeting on a committee and not sleep yet and it is like 6:22am. Went to a meeting yesterday. Went well. Still connected with the business community and working on new partners. I'm close to closing some deals, so it is worth it, but Man is this tiring.

Still, one does what one has to do.

Have to get back to the priority of promoting the fundarisers. I did a little of that yesterday, but have not been doing it as heavily as I should.

I'm still in the Asking Mode for Partners although I have learned that just because you can ask everyone, doesn't mean, you should. I only have the time to really target people who I think will say Yes. I read a busienss book once where the guy said, you want either a Yes or a No. A definite answer either way. It's the Maybe's that kill you and waste time.

Still I really don't have time to pursue what I feel will be Maybes or even Nos. I am just going after the potential Yeses. Also I have a few people taking to people outside of here for me and maybe in May for a bit, I might have to go out west. Which would be nice. I need to see my little baby. This movie stuff is just a job, "pero mi familia es muy importante."
